—The plank is one of the most basic and effective core stabilization exercises and requires no equipment.

—If you master a full 1-2 sets of holding a traditional plank for 1 minute, progress to performing the plank on your hands.

—If you need one final progression to increase difficulty, move to performing the plank with feet elevated!
